Sasha's Story
Sasha is a 2 year old boy in Khabarovsk, Russia. When he was born he had toxic shock syndrome and went into a coma for 2 weeks. He went through 3 clinical deaths. The doctors at first thought he wouldn’t live past the first few hours. But, miraculously, he did.
When Sasha’s father Maxim came to give him a blessing he told him that he will go on a mission. After blessing Maxim told to doctor: “I ask you to continue to take care of him, he will live – I know it.”
Many of Russian doctors were indifferent to Sasha’s health problems and prognosticated an unhappy future, and we (his parents), of course, were not agree with that.
The Lord gave Sasha a miracle, and he has survived through it all.
The diagnosis — cerebral palsy of the hypotonic form. We learned though doctors of a medical center in Singapore. Singapore doctors developed an individual program, in that we use at home. It is most effective to work regularly with professionals (every 3 months). We’ve found such clinic and such doctor in Sinchen, China with a similar methodic center for such children. It is much cheaper than traveling to Singapore again. There is a center in Moscow for $10,000 but with no results.
It is very important for Sasha, because his bones are growing, but his muscles are not getting enough development which would lead to more serious, dangerous and costly operations. He needs physical motorization, manual therapy and mental rehabilitation to let his brain grow and develop back to the necessary 3-5 year age. After this age, it will be too late. Sasha is clever and is intellectually developed child and he has all chances to become a normal boy and man.
